It ran for 80 Episodes, and the premise was that a different group of quality professionals would be gathered together for a particular project and have 7 days to bring it to completion. 

Simple enough ?   Well, not really: If the project wasn't finished during that period of time it would be destroyed !   "So, ya better get that thing finished on time...or else !! "

When the '51 "Cool Caddy Daddy" Project was put together, the team that was chosen couldn't have been better !

This was one TRULY  Legendary group headed by the one-and-only DARRYL STARBIRD, along with the host, Jesse James.  Included in this multi-talented crew were: John Aiello, Frank DeRosa, Sr., Frank DeRosa, Jr.,Dennis McPhail, AND, one of the new, great builders, JEFF MYERS,  PLUS, help & assisstance from Billy J. Gibbons, and, Bill Hines.  

AND, oh, yes:  It was not only finished, but it was one stellar Custom  Rod to feast your eyes on !

WOW !   How'd you like to have these guys build YOU a car ?    Well, somebody did for sure as the "Cool Daddy Caddy", along with others from the "Monster Garage" Series, were sold at the January, 2008,  Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

 PS:  Did you know that there was a British Version of the "Monster Garage" Show that aired in the U.K. in 2004 ?

Well, only 3 Days were allowed for the build...as opposed to the 7 Days for the StateSide Series. Maybe that was one of the main reasons that the U.K. Version folded after only 8 Episodes.
